Hyderabad Excise Officials Seize ?10 Lakh Worth of Smuggled Liquor

Hyderabad – Excise officials seized a large quantity of non-duty paid liquor during raids in the city over the past 24 hours.


In Shamshabad, 125 bottles of premium liquor were recovered from 15 people who had brought them illegally from Goa. Officials said the liquor was bought at cheaper rates in Goa and smuggled into the city. The seized stock is valued at around ?10 lakh.


The Excise Department has launched a crackdown to stop the flow of non-duty paid liquor into Telangana.
