Heartbreaking events took place after the Taliban captured the Afghans. People lined up at the airport to go abroad. Some of them traveled on planes, sitting on wheels. Many lives were also lost.

An infant was handed over to  a soldier during the American evacuation of Afghanistan after it fell into the hands of the Taliban. The baby was just 2 months old when he went missing. This happened in August of last year.

The lone infant was taken by a Taxi Driver named Hamid Safi to be raised as his own. After knowing the whereabouts of the infant Sohail Ahmadi, father Mirza Ali Ahmafi and mother Suraya pleaded with him to give them back the child. The driver refused at first, but later accepted and gave them back their child.

The baby has now reunited with his family relatives in Afghanistan. Photos of the baby reuniting have gone viral on social media.
