A tragedy took place in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. A monkey picked up a two-month-old baby and dropped it in a water tank. The infant lost his life. Komal, Prince are a couple who live in Baghpat, Meerut and have recently given birth to a baby boy. The boy was named Keshav Kumar. Keshav Kumar's grandmother also resides in the same house. She was sleeping in a room on the terrace. As usual, she slept with her grandson Keshav Kumar on Sunday night. However .. she forgot to close the door of that room. The baby's parents are sleeping in a different room. The monkeys went up to the terrace while everyone was fast asleep.
The monkeys picked up the child who was sleeping next to the grandmother and left. The child's grandmother chased the monkeys and tried to save the child, but to no avail. The baby was found dead floating in the water after monkeys threw him into a water tank. The child's parents were moved to tears that the monkeys had tried to abduct the child at home even once in the past. Police are investigating the incident. Examined CCTV footage near the home. It was clear in the video that the monkeys had jumped from the terrace to pick up the child. The villagers complained to the local authorities several times that the monkeys were starving but no one cared.
