Corona has created a stir in Maharashtra. 61 resident doctors at JJ Hospital in Mumbai tested positive for Coronavirus. They are currently in Isolation. Corona intensity is higher across the state. Along with Omicron, the corona cases are also booming. Recently, 18,466 corona cases were reported in Maharashtra.
Number of active cases rose to 66,308. Omicron variant cases increased to 653. Meanwhile, 1,827 people on the cruise ship from Goa to Mumbai were tested and 66 were diagnosed with corona. Authorities rushed five ambulances to the hospital. Samples were collected for genome sequencing.
