The incident of 3 minor boys and 6 boys on their 20's gang-raping a 14-year-old came to light after one of the girl's relative came across the video of the crime on a social media platform. This incident took place 2 months ago in Gujarat.
The girl was being accompanied by minor friend back home from a wedding in a nearby village. The minor boy raped her. His friends who were waiting in the way took her forcibly into the forest. 2 others have raped her. An accused was recording the video of the crime. The men fled the scene when they heard someone approaching and threatened the girl not to utter a word about it.
The incident came to light through a relative on December 23rd and a complaint was lodged. All the 9 accused were arrested. However the minors were out on a bail. Police is investigating the case further.
