As the number of single women from 2001 to 2011 increased to 39 per cent,the Sushma Committee has recommended that the segment be reduced to more income taxes.It also recommends tax benefits on health and hygiene products,for women,especially public toilets,free health and legal services for women who have been sexually harassed.The Committee has made vital recommendations on raising the number of women in the workforce by 2030,full fees for girls to attend competitive exams,free coaching and free hosting of working women in cities. .
