Sidhu, who works as a delivery guy at Swiggy, had saved about 10 people from a major fire that had broken out on Monday at ESIC Kamgar Hospital.

Sidhu was just passing by the hospital when he first saw the fire, which took eight lives, and rushed to the location. He apparently left his bike then and there and joined the firemen in the rescue operations.

But while searching for stranded patients, he choked on the smoke and is currently admitted at the nearby Seven Hills Hospital.

A photo of him from the hospital was shared by his doctor recently. Take a look:

Talking about how he rescued the patients from his hospital bed, Sidhu told PTI, "I joined the firemen in their rescue operation. Thankfully, the firemen allowed me to climb their ladder to reach the fourth floor. I broke the building's glass with an axe and entered the premises."

After listening about his brave act, the Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment Santosh Gangwar visited him in the hospital and appreciated his efforts.

Even people on the internet couldn't stop themselves from showering love on him.

A class 12 pass out, Sidhu had joined Swiggy a few days back when he shifted to Andheri, where the hospital is, with his uncle.
