BJP MLA asks Telangana Police to Cancel Munawar Faruqui's Hyd Show
Munawar Faruqui's shows have been cancelling in recent days. Bangalore show was cancelled after threats by right-wing groups. Goa, Gurugram and Gujarat shows have also been cancelled.
BJP MLA T Raja Singh has asked Telangana Police not to allow Munawar Faruqui perform his January 9th Hyd show called 'Dhandho'. He also asked his party workers to ensure that the comedian isn't allowed to enter Hyd.
The show in Hyd has been initiated after Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao said, "In our city, stand-up comedians get an open invite".
