Modi enquires about Haryana Home Minister's health

Chandigarh, June 15 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday telephonically enquired about the health of Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij who is undergoing treatment at Max Hospital in Mohali.

While expressing his gratitude through a tweet, Vij wrote, "When I received a call from the Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi at 9.44 a.m. today in the morning to enquire about my health while undergoing a treatment of fractured left thigh, all my pain vanished. You take care of an ordinary worker like me. Thank you so much."

Modi had a telephonic conversation that lasted five minutes with the Haryana minister and wished him a speedy recovery.

Vij has undergone an operation at Max Hospital in Mohali, near here, as his left thigh was fractured after slipping at his residence a few days back.
