Singer Harshdeep Kaur Sings 'Ik Onkar' for PM Modi on His 75th Birthday Eve

Singer Harshdeep Kaur shared a special moment from her recent visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence in New Delhi, ahead of his 75th birthday.


She revealed that the PM personally asked her to sing ‘Ik Onkar’, a sacred Sikh prayer from the Gurbani, making the experience deeply emotional and memorable for her. Harshdeep, who was part of a Sikh delegation, said she felt honored and grateful to represent the Sikh community on such a meaningful occasion.


In her social media post, she wrote:



“A day for the books! It was an honor to sing ‘Ik Onkar’ for PM Modi and be part of a delegation working to preserve the holy 'Jore Sahib' of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Mata Sahib Kaur Ji.”



She thanked Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri for including her in the visit.


Photos shared online show PM Modi presenting her with a memento, and another image captures both seated with folded hands during the prayer performance.


On September 17, as PM Modi celebrated his birthday, several Bollywood celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, shared their wishes, praising his leadership and commitment to the Country.
