24-year-old man named Arun was caught after he broke into actor-turned-politician Vijay’s house in Chennai on Friday, triggering concerns over the star’s security.

Arun, who is from Maduranthakam, reportedly entered the house through the back door, even though Vijay has ‘Y’ category security. The actor’s home is located in the Casino Drive area of Neelankarai.

The security guards quickly caught the intruder and handed him over to the Neelankarai police. It’s not yet clear how Arun managed to slip past the security setup.

This incident has raised serious questions about the effectiveness of security at high-profile residences, especially those of public figures like Vijay, who recently entered politics and has a large following.

The break-in also comes just days after another troubling incident involving Bollywood actor Disha Patani. Shots were fired outside her family home in Bareilly. Two of the accused were killed earlier in a police encounter, while two more suspects were arrested on September 19.

Both events have sparked public concern over the safety of celebrities, especially those active in politics or regularly in the spotlight.

Authorities are currently investigating the motives behind the break-in at Vijay’s home.
