Bhuj: A seven-year-old boy from Kutch has amazed everyone with his extraordinary memory skills. Yugveersinh Jaipalsinh Jadeja, a Class 2 student from Bhuj, set a world record by reciting 200 digits of Pi (π) in just 24 seconds. His feat has been recognised by World Records India.

What makes it even more special is that Yugveer dedicated this achievement to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday.

The young prodigy trained for just 70 days to master the 200 digits, all while keeping his eyes closed during recitation. His speed, focus, and calmness left people stunned. With this record, Yugveer has earned a place among the fastest and youngest minds in the world.

His parents, Komalba and Jaipalsinh Jadeja, have been a strong support system, encouraging him at every step. His father said, “At first it looked impossible, but Yugveer’s determination and yoga practice made it real. He is extremely curious and eager to learn. Every night before bed, he chants the Gayatri Mantra and Hanuman Chalisa.”

Yoga played a big role in his preparation. Yugveer practised for 15–20 days to improve his focus and breathing, which helped him manage the time challenge. His success has now made him a symbol of Kutch’s growing young talent.

Talking about his journey, Yugveer said, “My teacher Yogesh Sir suggested I try this. Time was the hardest part—I had to be very fast. With yoga, daily practice, and focus, I achieved it. Now, I want to enter the Guinness Book of World Records. My dream is to become an AI engineer, clear JEE and UPSC. This record is my gift to PM Modi.”

Pi (π), approximately 3.14159, is an infinite number used widely in maths, science, and engineering. Memorising its digits is considered a tough mental challenge worldwide—but very few can do it with the speed and accuracy shown by this 7-year-old from Kutch.
