Police have arrested two suspects in a case of stealing cell phones online through Flipkart. SP M Deepika told a media conference on Wednesday that 52 cellphones were seized with the help of cyber crime police. Muthyala Surendra of Narsipatnam in Visakhapatnam district, who works as a team leader at Flipkart, recently complained to the Second Town police that phones bought by his company were disappearing rather than being delivered.
Investigating police used technology to crack the case. Two employees of the company found that the phones were being stolen without reaching the customers. The accused arrested Nalam Ganesh of Puchalaveedhi and Reyi Ganesh of Bungaveedhi and remanded.
