Shenzhen, Jan 13 (IANS) South China's metropolis of Shenzhen reported one new locally transmitted Covid-19 case, the municipal government announced at a press briefing.
The patient, living in Longgang district and working in Luohu district, was diagnosed as a moderate Covid-19 case on Wednesday.
The patient has been sent to a designated hospital for treatment, Xinhua news agency reported.
A total of 13 local Covid-19 cases has been reported in Shenzhen in the latest resurgence. A total of 2,098 close contacts and 2,625 secondary contacts have been put under quarantine.
