The domestic stock markets are on the path to gains in the new year. Even today the market ended with gains.
In addition, the top IT companies today, TCS, Infosys and Wipro, are excited about the results being released. Indices ended with gains on auto, realty, metal and power stocks.
The stock markets ended with gains. The Sensex rose by 533.15 points to close at 61,150. The Nifty gained 156.50 points to close at 18,212.30. Bank Nifty gained 285 points.
Shares of Bharti Airtel, M&M, Reliance Industries, IndusInd Bank and ONGC were the top gainers in the Nifty today.
Titan Company, TCS, Shree Cements, Britannia Industries and Cipla were the biggest losers.
