Leading director Ram Gopal Varma is reportedly meeting AP Cinematography Minister Perni Nani on movie ticket prices. In this context, Varma responded on Twitter to issues in the film industry. Advised the AP government to leave the movie ticket prices and the number of shows to the film industry. He explained that the government should no longer focus on enforcing security standards, transparency in transactions and tax collection.

Varma said he was appealing to the minister's Perni Nani's team and film industry colleagues to put an end to the mutual mudslinging policy and hold healthy talks. However, Varma said he realized after a meeting with Minister Perni Nani that the issue of movie tickets had brought a number of issues to the forefront. The 1955 Cinematography Act was suddenly dug up after 70 years, making it clear that the manner in which the AP government was being implemented was unacceptable. He said the reality of the law was yet to be decided in court.
