A vegetable trader returning home on a two-wheeler was killed when his two-wheeler collided with a culvert on Saturday night in Kandi suburb of Sangareddy district. The victim was identified as Shiva Kumar (31), a blacksmith from Kavalampeta.
According to his wife Swapna, Sivakumar, who went to the vegetable market in Kandi on Saturday evening to sell vegetables, did not return home. She said they could not even contact him via mobile phone.
While searching for him, she said they found Kumar's body in a culvert between Kandi and Kaulampet on Sunday morning. Kumar died on the spot when the bike fell on him. Sangareddy Rural Police registered a case. The body was shifted to Sangareddy Government Hospital for postmortem.
