Inaugurating a private hospital in Chaitanyapuri on Sunday, the minister reminded the people of the growing daily Covid-19 cases across the country that the only way to protect their family members during the Third Wave is to follow the Covid-19 norms.
Health Minister T Harish Rao on Sunday urged all people to wear masks. He said the only way to avoid getting infected with the Omicron variant in this third wave is to wear well-fitting masks and not congregate.
Harishrao distributed masks after noticing that several people attending the inaugural function of Pranahita Private Hospitals in Chaitanyapuri near Dilsukhnagar were not wearing masks. "In order to have a happy life with family members in the coming days, it is imperative to wear masks, follow physical distance, stay away from closed areas which are not properly ventilated and say no to crowded meetings for another 4 to 6 weeks," said Harish Rao.
