Bharat Biotech has received information that certain immunization centers are recommending paracetamol 500 mg and painkillers along with Covaxin for the 15-18 age group.
In this regard, it has issued a statement that paracetamols and pain killers should not be taken after vaccination. If not, side effects may be seen in some. Medication is recommended only after consulting a physician.
However, Paracetamol is recommended with few other Covid-19 vaccines, but not Covaxin.
