Tamil Nadu Government has imposed complete lockdown on Sundays as Omicron cases are increasing. More curbs and an official order from CM MKStalin is awaited.
Health Minister Ma Subramanian said this in an informal meeting on Wednesday. He also said a mega Covid-19 vaccination camp will be held on Saturday.
As of Tuesday evening, the number of Omicron cases in Tamil Nadu was 121. The number of new Covid-19 cases in the state jumped from 1,728 cases on Monday to 2,731 on Tuesday.
