A married woman was killed after she fell into the Handri-Neeva canal while going for washing clothes in Chilamathur zone of Hindupur constituency on Wednesday.
According to the details of the Demaketepalli Grama Panchayat d. Pushpa, 35, of Gollapalli village, went to wash clothes in the Handri-Neeva canal on Wednesday morning and died after accidentally falling into the canal. Observed locals recovered the body. Chilamathur police registered a case and shifted the body to Hindupur Government Hospital.
