The AP government has taken another crucial decision. SC will provide subsidized loans to divert farmers towards nature farming. Rs.50,000 loan will be given. An additional amount will be provided if required. Of this, Rs.10,000 will be discounted. These loans are given to women from peasant families.
The scheme will be applicable to tenant farmers. To this end, SC Corporation has initiated the selection of beneficiaries for the grant of subsidized loans. It aims to provide loans to 40,000 people across the state in two tranches, while the first tranche will provide subsidized loans to 9,000 people by the end of January and the remaining 31,000 by the end of February.
