With the growing Corona cases and Omicron Variant cases several sanctions are being imposed in the country. Night curfews and many other restrictions have been imposed. The outbreak has once again raised discussions of work from home. Most of the offices provide work from home facilities to the employees.

RGP Group Chairman Harsh Goenka tweeted on the evening of December 31 that all his company employees should work from home, as well as all his offices would be closed. Even in various government offices, work-from-home facilities are being provided to employees. The Central Government is also planning to bring in similar regulations.

The Ministry of Labor has also released a draft for the Work From Home. Employees in the manufacturing, mining and service sectors will be included in the draft. The move by the central government is seen as a major shift in the work culture of the offices.
