1 dead, 1 injured in military chopper crash in Tunisia

Tunis, Jan 4 (IANS) An air force soldier was killed and another injured on Monday when the helicopter crashed during a routine patrol, the Tunisian Ministry of Defence said.

"The deceased is the co-pilot while the pilot is seriously injured in the crash of the aircraft in Tunisia's northern Bizerte province," said a ministry statement, Xinhua reported.

"The pilot who is in critical condition was transferred to the regional hospital of Bizerte," it added, without giving further details.
