Corona cases have not decreased in Telangana. As many as 84 cases were registered with five Omicron cases being registered as new. Doctors said 32 people had recovered from Omicron. There are 3779 corona active cases in Telangana. A total of 21,679 Covid-19 tests were performed and 274 were found to be Covid-19 positive.
On the other hand, if the number of corona and omicron cases in Telangana increases, the issue of imposition of lockdown and curfew will be considered, said DH Srinivasa Rao. The lock-down is expected in the last week of January. Everyone is advised to wear a mask and use a sanitizer. Vaccines are currently being distributed at vaccination centers to those over 15 years of age. The health ministry has announced that special queue lines have been set up for children.
