The stock market has finally recovered from a series of falling lows. with the year ending today, market has received gains. Today, the Sensex gained nearly 459.50 points closing at 58253.82 points. The Nifty on the other hand ended with a gain of 150 points at 17354 points.
Apart from this, a total of 3,480 companies were traded on the BSE today, of which about 2,439 shares ended with gains and 947 shares ended with red.
Nifty Top Gainers
Hindalco rose by Rs.26 to close at Rs.475.55.
Shares of Titan Company rose by Rs.85 to close at Rs.2,522.40.
Ultratech Cement rose by Rs.194 to close at Rs.7,591.05.
Tata Motors rose by Rs.3 per share to close at Rs.482.40.
Kotak Mahindra stock rose by Rs.41 to close at Rs.1,796.10.
Nifty Top Losers
NTPC shares fell nearly Rs.3 closing at Rs.124.40.
Cipla shares fell Rs.9 closing at Rs.944.10.
Tech Mahindra fell nearly Rs.9 closing at Rs.1,790.55.
Shares of Power Grid Corporation fell nearly Rs.1 closing at Rs.204.40.
Infosys shares fell nearly Rs.5 closing at Rs.1,887.75.
