CERT- India Alerts APPLE device Users.. Warns to follow these Instructions

Cyber ??attacks have increased in recent times. The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) under the Ministry of IT has alerted the users that many security vulnerabilities have been detected in Apple products. It warns users of the dangers of hacking the data of users of Apple products such as the iPhone, MacBook, Watch and Apple TV.

In this context, users are advised to update to the latest version of the Software. Failure to update to the latest version may result in hacking of your Apple devices. It also said that there was a risk of some malware infiltrating the respective devices.

According to Indian Computer Emergency Response, CERT-In found security vulnerabilities such as file metadata handling, state handling, bounds checking, locking, sandbox restrictions, access restrictions, permission logic, javascript implementation in the scripting dictionary, and miscommunication on Bluetooth. Apple has clarified that there is a possibility of a cyber attack on the products due to these security vulnerabilities.

New iOS for iPhone 6S,
iPad Pro (all models),
iPad Air 2,
iPad 5th Generation- later versions,
iPad Mini 4- later versions,
iPod Touch Touch (7th Generation) devices CERT-In reports that versions 15.2, 15.2 are available for the iPad OS. Therefore, Apple asks you to update your devices to the new iOS.
