Papaya- Good for health but very dangerous for people suffering from these problems...

Papaya contains many vitamins, minerals and fiber. It is very sweet and comes in Vibrant color. Most people take it in the form of a salad. Papaya has many health benefits. Eating it often in the morning or at lunch time can reduce heart disease, diabetes, cancer and Blood Pressure. Papaya is good for health but it is better for some people not to eat papaya.


Pregnant women
Pregnant women are advised to eat healthy food. However Papaya contains latex, which causes urinary problems. It contains papain which is used to induce childbirth. This weakens the lining of the embryo. This mostly happens with half ripe papaya.


Heart related diseases
Papaya is good for heart related patients. But, those who are suffering from heart-beat problems should avoid papaya. One study suggests that papaya contains small amounts of glycosides, an amino acid that produces hydrogen cyanide in the human digestive tract. This can exacerbate the symptoms in people with an irregular heartbeat problem. It can have a similar effect on people with hypothyroidism.


Allergy
People with latex allergy problems should avoid papaya. The fruit contains an enzyme called chitinase which causes interaction between foods containing latex. Leading to sneezing, difficulty breathing, cough and watery eyes. To some even the smell of ripe papaya may seem unpleasant.
