Sonam Kapoor shared a picture with Salman and wrote

Salman Khan who was convicted to a five-year jail term in the two-decade-old blackbuck poaching case on Thursday, got bail on Saturday. Several B-town celebs and others expressed their grief over his conviction and came out in support of him. Sonam Kapoor, who worked with Salman in Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, also did so.

Sonam shared a picture with Salman and wrote, "You're the best! Always by your side!"

Salman was convicted in the two-decade-old blackbuck poaching case. Co-accused Saif Ali Khan, Neelam Kothari, Tabu and Sonali Bendre have been acquitted. Blackbucks are an endangered species and hunting them is prohibited under the Wildlife Protection Act.In a throwback video that’s doing the rounds, Salman is seen talking about the time he spent in a jail. Referring to his experience he recalls that he was blank then and that the only tension was the bathroom.

There were like nine or 10 rooms, and each room had 9-10 people in one room. He added that if someone wants to put you in, you go in quietly and that when one knows one hasn’t done it, one goes in with head high. He also said he used to do a lot of push-ups and crunches and used to work out thrice a day.
