Sidharth Malhotra is in vacation mode; enjoys a bicycle ride

Sidharth Malhotra's journey to fame has been a roller-coaster one. The actor was last seen in Manoj Bajpayee's Aiyaary. Sidharth has taken a break and is in a vacation mode. Today, the actor took to Instagram to share a picture from his vacation album. He wrote, "#wildride #outdoors."Sidharth is all set to be seen in Kargil: Sher Shah, a biopic based on the late Kargil war hero Captain Vikram Batra. He will soon start shooting for the film in Kashmir.Now as per reports in a leading tabloid, Sidharth has signed his next produced by none other than Ekta Kapoor. If the reports turn out to be true, this will be the second outing of Sidharth and Ekta after their 2014 hit Ek Villain.

 Talking about the project, a source said to the tabloid, "It’s a small town love story with edgy characters. As soon as Ekta heard it she immediately reached out to Sidharth. She believes it’s a great role and a perfect film for them to come together. The film is expected to roll in a couple of months. The makers will begin the reccee soon and zero in on a leading lady.

The source further said, "The duo hopes to recreate the magic with their reunion."Apart from this, Sidharth is in talks with Anees Bazmee for his next, according to a leading daily. According to a source of the daily, Anees has approached Sidharth to star in a solo-led movie which will be a romantic comedy. The actor-director duo recently met at Anees' office and to discuss the script and Sidharth liked the story. 

 The source added that this is just the first round of discussion. Sidharth is yet to sign the movie and the actor will sit for a proper narration and only then will he decide. Meanwhile, speaking of starring in Vikram Batra's biopic, when Sidharth was asked why it took him so long to star in a biopic, the actor revealed, "A biopic needs to mean something. As an actor, I need to feel the connect. A biopic is not a fictitious story. It is based on a real person and I think one needs to handle that with a lot of sensitivity. The character that I'll be playing next is very sensitive and his story is also quite touching. When I was approached for the film, and they spoke to me about the character, I felt it means a lot to me and I have so much respect for him."
