Varun is Being Wooed by Imtiaz Ali for a Romantic film

Varun Dhawan is one of the most sought-after actors in Bollywood today. After all, not many can boast of an unbroken streak of hits, with not a single flop in their career.If a report in Mumbai Mirror is to be believed, Varun is being wooed by Imtiaz Ali for a romantic film. Apparently, the Jab Harry Met Sejal director has already met with Varun twice this month, and he is likely to come on board. The leading lady of the as-yet untitled love story is yet to be decided.

The actor is currently gearing up for the release of Shoojit Sircar's October, and is neck-deep in promotions. October is slated to hit the theatres on April 13, and once Varun wraps up his commitments related to the film, an announcement may be on the cards.Meanwhile, according to another report by the same publication, Imtiaz's collaboration with his Jab We Met actor Shahid Kapoor has been put on hold after the producers were skeptical about bankrolling such an "edgy" and experimental film.

Reportedly, Imtiaz's film with Shahid was supposed to go on floors in July, but the two have mutually decided to keep the project on the back-burner, for now
