Parineeti Chopra refutes the rumours of being approached for Housefull 4

Sajid Nadiadwala and Sajid Khan’s ‘Housefull’ franchise has been entertaining the audience since its first installment. Now, the makers are all set to get work on ‘Housefull 4’ started. Speculations were rife that Sonakshi Sinha will be playing the female lead in the movie.

A source close to the development told a leading daily, “Sonakshi’s mother, Punam Sinha, has been calling up the producer and director, asking them to take her daughter in ‘Housefull 4’. She wants Sonakshi to be paired opposite Akshay Kumar in the hit comedy series. The actress, too, wants to be a part of the project but the team is yet to take a final call on her casting. Meanwhile, they are in talks with a few other heroines too.”

Reports also suggested that Parineeti Chopra too is in the race to bag the female lead in the rib-tickling comedy. However, Parineeti has denied these rumours and said that she has not been approached by anyone for ‘Housefull 4’.

Parineeti Chopra’s spokesperson said, “Parineeti Chopra hasn’t been approached for ‘Housefull 4’. So, the rumour doing the rounds is absolutely untrue.”So does that mean that Sonakshi and Akshay will have a reunion of sorts after 4 years?
