Helen Mirren did a shot on the Oscars 2018 red carpet and we love her more than ever

Helen Mirren took a moment on the red carpet at the Oscars to neck a shot like the absolute queen she is. And she did it looking incredibly regal too. Variety tweeted a picture of the actress gingerly holding the end of her dress up from the carpet as she sipped tequila from a shot glass.The Oscars is a famously very long ceremony, so we can understand her needing to do something to pep her up a bit. Or maybe it was to steady her nerves ahead of presenting on the night. They could have at least given her some salt and a lime wedge to go with it.

It came hours before Dame Helen took to the stage at the Oscars to model a jetski host Jimmy Kimmel was giving away to the person who gave the shortest acceptance speech.
