Sridevi fans from Telangana, Karnataka reach Mumbai to bid farewell to the late actor

Disheartened with the sudden death of the legendary icon Sridevi, depressed celebrities have been lately seen visiting the Kapoor family at Anil Kapoor’s residence. Fans in large numbers have also flocked around the house, being equally in a state of shock.

Boney Kapoor, along with his two daughters- Jhanvi and Khushi have been staying at younger brother Anil Kapoor’s house since Sunday. Mourners have gathered outside their bungalow ever since the tragic news of Sridevi’s demise revealed.

Farah Khan, Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani and others such as Resul Pookutty, Saroj Khan, and Honey Irani were among few of the visitors. The family also saw the presence of director Shekhar Kapur, actors such as Tabu, Ritesh Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, Akshara, Shruti Haasan, Ameesha Patel, Divya Dutta and Sara Ali Khan at Anil’s residence.

The ‘Chandni’ actor died at the age of 54 in Dubai’s Emirates hotel on Saturday night. The grief over losing Sridevi has deeply moved people.

Fans across cities have expressed their emotions. A 40-year-old fan of Sridevi, Satish Kumar, said that he travelled approximately 1200 km to just get a glimpse of the iconic heroine. He reportedly said, “She went too soon. It is heartbreaking. I am just waiting to see her one last time.”

“She was so beautiful. She used to look magical on screen... I remember watching her in Nagina and going mad over how gorgeous she looked and how well she acted,” he heartily added.

According to police officials, about 150 people came to Mumbai all the way from Karnataka on Monday in order to pay their respects to the adorable actor. There were also fans from the state of Telangana.Security measures have been charged up to avoid any circumstance of chaos. The area around the bungalow has been cordoned off for all the fans gathered on the roads, who are seeking to bid their farewell to the late actor.
