Akshay Kumar,Diana Penty,and Kareena Kapoor Khan attend a Navjote ceremony in the city

Homi Adajania and Anaita Shroff Adajania hosted a Navjote ceremony for their son and it was a star-studded affair. Bollywood celebrities namely Akshay Kumar with wife Twinkle Khanna, Kareena Kapoor Khan and others marked their presence at the ceremony.Bebo looked lovely in her traditional look in her mint and gold embroidered Anarkali by designer Simar Dugal. The sheer sleeve Anarkali was paired with a woven polka pattern dupatta and she styled her look with gold chandbaalis, her signature smoky eyes and hair tied back in a sleek ponytail.

 Akshay wore a red checkered shirt and grey jeans which he teamed up with grey shoes. Twinkle looked stunning in a white satin top with bow sleeves and a pair of black jeans.Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena will next be seen in Veere Di Wedding. The film is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and also stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, Shikha Talsania and Sumeet Vyas. Veere Di Wedding is slated to release on June 1, 2018.

 Earlier, when Pinkvilla asked Kareena about Veere Di Wedding, the actress had revealed, "Yeah! It is my wedding in the movie and it will be different. Rhea is going to style me. It will be stylish. And with Sonam - the fashionista in the movie, I surely cannot wear my jeans and t-shirt. Or you never know, I may convince her to come out of her ball gowns and wear jeans and t-shirt. You should wait and watch (laughs)."Meanwhile, Akshay and Twinkle are riding high on the success of their latest outing PadMan. The film released on February 9, 2018, and is directed by R Balki. It starred Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor in pivotal roles.
