Good to see fantastic work of 'Padmaavat' Team: Shankar

Ace filmmaker Shankar is all praise for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavat, the period drama starring Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone. The filmmaker, who was in Taiwan recently to launch Indian 2, took to Twitter to share his views on Padmavat.

Praising the film’s visuals, Shankar said, “Padmavati- Engaging with Amazing visuals. Good to see fantastic work of Sudeep,Prod.designer,Costume designer,Deepika,Ranveer and ofcourse Sanjay. Ghoomar…wah what a song.” Shankar is one among the several South Indian film celebrities who have praised the film post its release.

Meanwhile, the film has already joined the Rs 100 crores club; however, ever since it released, it has stirred an intense debate about the portrayal of women. We’ll have to wait and see how this story unfolds in near future.
