Monal Gajjar backs out of VIP 2

Recently it was reported that actress Monal Gajjar who became popular with Allari Naresh starrer 'Sudigadu' has been roped to play cameo in upcoming movie ‘Velaiyilla Pattadhari 2 (VIP2)’ starring Dhanush, Kajol and Amala Paul. Now according to the latest update, the actress has been opted out of the project because of date issues. She was the latest addition of the movie and it was heard that Monal’s role in the movie was similar to Surabhi’s role in its prequel.

Monal  reveals that she shot for the two days in city but as she was  busy in Gujarati movie, was not able to spend much time for VIP2 so she walked away from this project. On the other side, the team is tight lipped and not ready to reveal about the actress. Recently Kajol has wrapped the shoot of her portion.Helmed by Soundarya Rajinikanth, jointly produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu and Dhanush and the music is scored by Sean Roldan.
