Alia Bhatt to pay tribute to Karan Johar at awards show

Mumbai, March 10 (IANS) Actress Alia Bhatt, whose debut film was directed by Karan Johar, will pay a tribute to the filmmaker with her performance at the Zee Cine Awards here on Saturday night.

Alia will perform to a string of songs from films produced and/or directed by Karan.She is performing to superhit songs from across Karan's films -- right from his directorial "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" to his latest production "Badrinath Ki Dulhania", incorporating elements from various actors who have featured in his films, read a statement from Zee.This is the first time she is performing at Zee Cine Awards, and it is even more special for her given the fact that she is performing just a day after the release of "Badrinath Ki Dulhania".
