Samantha Ruth Prabhu traditional look

Gorgeous diva Samantha  Ruth Prabhu has joined the set of upcoming untitled Ponram directorial venture recently, in which Sivakarthikeyan is playing the  lead role. It is the first time when Sam is sharing the screen space with Sivakarthikeyan.  Samantha is playing village belle. 

She took the instagram to share the pic of herself from the sets of the film.  The actress who is seen in desi avatar, captioned it, “No day is the same . #shootdiaries #theshowmustgoon #tenkasi #tamilnadu.” Earlier Samantha  shared a video clip  on Instagram where she was seen  doing traditional martial art Silambam. The sources say that she was practicing Silmabam for this film.  We wonder what this has to do with her role in a romantic comedy. Apart from lead pair, the film has other stars like Simran, Soori, Napolean and Lal in supporting roles.

On the other-side, currently Samantha is busy in her upcoming Telugu movies ‘Rangasthalam 1985’ opposite Ram Charan and Akkineni Nagarjuna’s Raju Gari Gadhi 2. In Tamil, she will be seen in Mersal, Irumbu Thirai and Aneethi Kathaigal.
