 Vijay announced that he would donate his eyes after his death. He attended a hospital opening ceremony in Madurai and shared his decision with the media. He also said that fans should donate their eyes and help the blind to see the world.

Vijay is currently playing the Tamil film 'Karuppan'. The film is almost complete. After that, he will be starring with Trisha in '96'. Apart from these, he seems to be playing the role of heroine in four other films.
