Watch 'The Voice of Ravanna' from Rana Daggubati's Virata Parvam

The Rana Starrer Virata Parvam team has released The voice of Ravanna (Rana) Today. The video shows the glimpses of the naxalite movement with Rana's powerful Dialogue in the background. The movie is inspired from true events of the 1990's.

Virata Parvam is an upcoming period drama film written and directed by Venu Udugula, and produced by D. Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri.

The film stars Sai Pallavi and Rana Daggubati while Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra, Zarina Wahab, Easwari Rao, and Sai Chand play other supporting roles. Rana will play the role of Dr.Ravi Shankar alias Comrade Ravanna while Sai Pillavi as Vennela and Priyamani as Bharathakka.

The release date of the movie has not yet been announced. Initially scheduled to release on 30 April 2021, it has been postponed due to the COVID-19 situation in India. The film has music composed by Suresh Bobbili and cinematography by Dani Sanchez-Lopez. The plot revolves around the Naxalite movement that took place in the Telangana region in the 1990s.
