First look from Rakul Preet Singh's 'Chhatriwali' unveils

'Chhatriwali', produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP and directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar starring Rakul Preet Singh as the main lead has released its first look. In this project Rakul Preet Singh will play the role of a condom tester. The social family entertainer, titled 'Chhatriwali', recently hit the sets in Lucknow.

The makers have now dropped Chatriwali First Look, which is an ingenious drama and untouched concept based film by the production house. Desperate for a job, an unemployed female chemistry graduate became a condom examiner in the small town of Karnal, a secret she had to hide from everyone around her.

Rakul Preet Singh told Bollywood Hungama, "It's quite an interesting and hatke subject and I am very thrilled about starting the journey of my character. It's important to highlight some issues in a light-hearted way and that has got me pretty excited."

Director Tejas Deoskar shares saying, “Our film is a social family entertainer, which aims at de-stigmatizing the use of condoms and we are truly excited that the film has gone on floors. Rakul brings freshness to every role that she portrays and with a sensitive, thought-provoking subject like this, the audience will certainly enjoy a roller-coaster ride of comedy.”

Apart from 'Chhatriwali', Rakul will also be seen in 'October 31st Ladies Night', 'Ayalaan', 'Attack', 'Mayday', 'Doctor G', 'Thank God', 'Mission Cinderella' and 'Indian 2'.
