Huma Qureshi To Play Female lead role in Thalaivar 161

Huma Qureshi (30) has been cast opposite Rajinikanth in his next action-romantic film in which she will play the love interest of  66-year-old actor. The film will be helmed by Kabali fame Pa Ranjith and  produced by actor Dhanush under his production house Wunderbar Films.

The movie will be made on the budget of Rs 5 Crore and will go on the floor by the end of this month. Earlier the name of various actresses like Vidya Balan and Kajol were making round but Huma Qureshi has been finalized to play the female lead role.  The actress has  worked for  various  movies like Gangs of Wasseypur, Dedh Ishqiya, Ek Thi Daayan, and Badlapur. She was last seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Jolly LLB2.

After a long gap of 8 years, Rajinikanth interacted with his fans. Yesterday in Kodambakkam, during the interaction, he said that he would start the shoot for Pa Ranjith’s project from 28th May. After Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Sonakshi Sinha and seductive actress Radika Apte,  now it is the turn of Huma Qureshi to romance with Rajinikanth.
