Hyderabad Feb 27 : Half Girlfriend, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor, is an upcoming film which is based on Chetan Bhagat’s successful book by the same titled. Now, this will be the fifth time that Bollywood is adapting from the author’s work and we are excited AF for the movie. We know that it will have all the characteristic elements of a typical Bhagat storyline and the film will be peppered with a lot of drama, good songs and emotional scenes to make us root for the lead pair. While all this is a done thing, we are slightly disappointed that Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor are missing from the latest poster. Why have the makers done this?

Well, we might have the answer to this. Actually, New York plays a huge role in the movie and therefore the makers wanted to highlight this fact. It is mentioned on the poster how the director Mohit Suri and the cinematographer took special permissions to shoot the famed climax of the movie on the gorgeous New York bridge and have shot the same in the wee hours of the morning. Our interest is now piqued and we can’t wait to watch the finished product.

Half Girlfriend is a very important film for Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor’s career as they have not had a decent run at films recently. While Arjun’s last movie with Kareena Kapoor Khan: Ki & Ka did average business at the box office, Shraddha’s last two movies: Ok Jaanu and Rock On 2 were major flops.
