Kareena kapoor also waitng for kangana's biopic

Now, Kangana Ranaut might have recently made headlines for reasons she didn't want to but boy, is ready to hit back harder! No, there's no war she is fighting. But after enjoying the super-success of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, the Queen actress is all set to direct her next, which will be his own life story. The film is currently in the scripting stage and is penned by Vijayendra Prasad, who wrote the story of Baahubali franchise and Manikarnika. The film is expected to go on floors in November-December.

She had earlier confirmed the news to Mumbai Mirror and had said that it will not be a propaganda or publicity stint but an earnest account of everything her life has been. She had said, "Yes, it is true, my own story is the subject of my next directorial. But it is not a propaganda film with characters who are starkly black and white, rather it is a sincere, heartfelt account of my journey so far with plenty of lighter moments. I’m emboldened by the love of the people around me, who have never judged me but accepted me for who I am." And while we are excited to see how that pans out, there's someone else who is also looking forward to this biopic. And that someone is none other than Kareena Kapoor Khan!

Talking about Manikarnika, the historical drama has done a phenomenal business and has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark. It has been directed by Kangana Ranaut and Krish, and also features Ankita Lokhande, Jisshu Sengupta, Atul Kulkarni, Danny Danzongpa, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi and Suresh Oberoi in key roles. The music of Manikarnika is composed by the terrific trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, while the lyrics are penned by Prasoon Joshi.
