Swara Bhaskar gets back to trolls after identical Veere Di Wedding tweets

Vere Di Wedding that released on June 1 is having a good run at the box office. The film starring Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Shikha Talsania and Swara Bhaskar is getting praise and criticism in equal amounts.Out of the four leads, Swara has become the talking point in most of the conversation around Veere Di Wedding. First a lady’s two-minute video went viral where she makes a funny observation about Swara playing a rich character in the film, and now a special tweet has come her way.

Interestingly, the identical tweet has been posted by many handles. Twitter users like Joydas and Rahul Pandita pointed the similarity in tweets, and then came Swara’s savage reply.While quoting Pandita’s tweet, she wrote, “Looks like a certain IT cell sponsored the tickets- or definitely the tweets!”

Swara was trolled when she spoke about the Kathua rape in April, earlier this year. She had said, “I am Hindustan. I am Ashamed. #JusticeForOurChild #JusticeForAasifa. 8 years old. Gangraped. Murdered. In ‘Devi’-sthaan temple. #Kathua and lest we forget #unnao Shame on us! #BreakTheSilence #EndTheComplicity #ActNow.”
