Ramcharan has got appreciation for his acting in the film. The film turned out to be biggest grosser among Ramcharan's films. Mahesh Babu's Bharath Ane Nenu has grossed Rs 205 crore worldwide. For the first time, Mahesh has essayed CM's role in the film. Biopic on Savitri, Mahanati turned out to be a hit.
