Karan Johar has been considering a younger lead Pair

Karan Johar is all set to helm a film which has a fancy ensemble cast. While the director-producer has already roped in his best friend, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and was planning to cast Sidharth Malhotra opposite Kareena, he is not sure whether Sidharth will fit the part. Reports also suggest that Karan has been considering a younger lead pair for the film. Apparently, for the same, Karan has approached Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor to be his second lead couple.

Since Karan feels that Sidharth might not be the best option alongside Kareena, he is currently looking out for a male superstar. According to various sources, Sidharth's career has been going through a slump, and the actor was probably looking forward to this film for things to start working for him again. However, Karan feels that Sidharth and Kareena's pair might not work and thus there is a need to bring in somebody bigger.

Meanwhile, Kartik and Janhvi have enough celebrations in store as they two stand confirmed for the movie.
