Irrfan Khan's spokesperson slams speculation around actor�s deteriorating health

On March 5th 2018, Irrfan Khan took to Twitter to tell his fans and well-wishers that is suffering from a 'rare disease'. This was followed by speculation around his health and to put and end to it the actor himself took to Twitter to reveal that he is suffering from neuroendocrine tumour. Irrfan is currently abroad getting his treatment done and his colleagues and friends from the film fraternity including Manoj Bajpayee, Vishal Bhardwaj and Abhinay Deo have been saying time and again that he is a fighter and will be back soon.

But that doesn't seem enough to stop all the rumours on Irrfan's health. His spokesperson has now come out and trashed all the reports on his deteriorating health. Irrfan's rep has asked fans not to believe any rumours being spread through social media. As per Hindustan Times report, Irrfan Khan's spokesperson issued a statement saying, "“This latest round of news being spread through social media in the last few days about Irrfan’s health is absolutely false and there’s no truth to it whatsoever. We as his family and friends again request the members of the media to continue their support and the prayers that have come Irrfan’s way. However it’s not right to spread rumours through mediums of social media without fact check or any official validation. In the meanwhile once again we request everyone to refrain from picking up social media statuses as affirmative developments on someone’s health.”

Meanwhile his Friday release 'Black???' has turned out to be a sleeper-hit at the box-office and has earned 14.42 crores in just three days of its release. His 2017 blockbuster 'Hindi Medium' is also doing exceptionally well in China and has raked in 155.10 crores in just 5 days of its release there. The actor was supposed to begin shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's Sapna Didi biopic with Deepika Padukone but due to his health the film has been put on hold. The makers are sure about waiting for Irrfan to return back and are not looking for a replacement.
