Congress senior leader to join TDP

Amaravathi: Former Congress senior leader from Rayalaseema district DL Ravindra Reddy will join TDP soon as he got the assurance of party ticket from Mydukuru assembly constituency.  Reddy called on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and discussed the political developments in the state. Earlier,  DL tried to join YSR Congress but the local leaders did not accept the proposal to give party ticket to him.  As an alternative,  Jagan offered MLC post in lieu of joining the party but the senior leader declined the offer. It is yet to be known whether Reddy contest elections from TDP only after the TDD Chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadav give his consent.
